About Me
Hi, I’m Marlène Gravenberch.
In my personal life, I am a mom of two adults (lady and gent) who - together with their spouses - have given me four beautiful grandkids, making me a grandma.
I am blessed with a huge family of brothers and sisters and intimate friends who became family too: cheering one another, crying together, and laughing together.
Since I was born and raised in Suriname (South America) with a vibrant and diverse culture because of our history, I am a cultural admirer.
As a personal and professional development coach, I’m passionate about empowerment. I guide individuals and groups towards growth, resilience, and achievement.
With over thirty years of experience spanning various industries, my path ultimately led me to founding Leadership Refocused in July 2023, a platform dedicated to transformative growth and lasting impact.

What sets me apart?
Looking back, I come to realize that I always had that coaching DNA
within me, knowing at an early age what I wanted to become – a teacher.- educating and empowering others has been the common thread in my life.
Becoming a teacher has set the tone for my mission, which is seeing the huge potential in individuals, cultivating excellence, creating inclusive and empowering environments that unlock the full (leadership) potential within each person, and empowering their journey toward success.
I’m especially passionate about supporting women on their personal and professional growth path.
